Upcoming Event – Using Drones in Archaeology 13th March

We’re very lucky to have Tony Hunt (former Chair of the Council for British Archaeology in Yorkshire and currently supporting research attached to the Archaeological Department of Hull University) coming to talk to us about the use of drones and multispectral imagery in archaeology.

It will be held at The Village Club on Wednesday 13th March with the talk starting at 1930. Entry will be £3 and hot drinks and biscuits will be provided.

Tony will be showing how the use of advanced cameras and processing techniques are revealing hidden archaeology, with reference to various sites around Yorkshire. It’s going to be a fascinating subject and we hope to see many of you there.
